Build the future of
observability.
Foam.ai automatically finds what broke, why it broke, and how to fix it — with zero noise. Join as a Founding Engineer and shape how the world debugs production.
AI-native observability, built from scratch.
Foam is building a new observability stack that captures, traces, and links everything — purpose-built for AI. Their engine correlates every log, trace, and metric across all services by a single relational ID, with zero data loss and a complete production snapshot.
The result: Foam autonomously identifies and root-causes breakages across entire systems, then fixes it or tells the right person exactly how. No alert rules. No dashboards. No noise.
Backed by Khosla Ventures, Max Levchin, The House Fund, and South Park Commons.
The problem is getting worse, not better.
Noisy alerts, so you watch dashboards yourself
You re-tune thresholds, rewrite rules, but eventually stop trusting your alerts. So you monitor yourself.
Customers find issues before your team does
By the time engineering knows, customers have already created a ticket or complained about your product.
You vibecoded a PR — now you have to verify it
Your AI code is in production and you need to check whether it actually works for your users.
Your observability stack is an overpriced database
You're paying for glorified storage and gluing MCPs together to build your own agents on top of it.
Autonomous, accurate, no setup.
Zero-noise error monitoring — Foam decides what matters
Discovers why it broke using complete production context
Fixes it or pings the right person with a root cause + PR
Founding Engineer
Founding Engineer
You'll be one of the first engineers at Foam — building the core telemetry engine, AI agent infrastructure, and product from 0→1. This is a high-ownership, high-impact role: you'll work directly with the founders, ship daily, and define how the engineering org operates.
Strong builders with production instincts.
- Experience at a high-growth startup or top-tier tech company — you've shipped at scale
- Deep systems thinking — you can reason about distributed systems, telemetry, and data pipelines
- AI/ML engineering background or strong desire to go deep on AI agent infrastructure
- You build fast and take ownership — founding engineer means no task is below you
- SF-based or willing to be in-office 5 days a week near Salesforce Tower
- Not an EIR, not a manager — a hands-on engineer who writes code every day
Top-tier investors who've built and funded category leaders.
