They combine exabyte-scale video infrastructure, novel video understanding techniques, and dozens of data sources to build the datasets that push the frontier of video modeling. Video is 80% of all internet traffic — powering creativity, communication, gaming, AR/VR, and robotics. Sieve exists to solve the single biggest bottleneck in the growth of these applications: high-quality training data.
They've already partnered with the world's top AI labs, did $XXM in revenue last quarter — as a team of just 15 people — and raised their Series A from Matrix Partners, Swift Ventures, Y Combinator, and AI Grant.
You're #1. That's the point.
As Sieve's first recruiter, you'll build the recruiting function from the ground up — no playbook, no bureaucracy, just full ownership. You'll hire across engineering and product operations, run recruiting events, and be a strategic partner to the CEO and Chief of Staff as the company scales. No two days look the same.

What You Bring
- 3+ years of technical recruiting experience
- Familiarity with AI/ML/Research talent market
- Comfort with ambiguity and speed
- Able to hire across both engineering and ops
- Based in SF (or ready to be)
- Bonus: Prior founding recruiter experience
- Bonus: Experience running recruiting events
- Bonus: Comfortable with AI tools (Claude, Cursor)
